(1)-A river flows through it, the Colorado River to be exact. If you look close, you can see the river far below. (2)- As you can see in the background of this picture of Bill, the river has been hard at work.(3)- Inge loved the view with binoculars (4)- The grand old hotel, El Tovar, on the rim of the canyon dates from the 1920s. (5)- Inside the El Tovar, is Frederic Remmington's famous bronze, Coming Through The Rye. (6)- The plaque tells the story of the cowboy's way of life, soon to drift into history. As the cowboys blaze their way into town, we slowly mosey back to our car, and set our compass for Las Vegas.
